- Plan travel for short distances and only to warm destinations? check
- Carry pocket handwarmer known only to those in the dog sled business, arctic explorers and Minnesotans? check
- Emergency kit on board? (containing candy bars, candle & matches, card deck & cribbage board, and a "SEND HELP" sign for the back window of your car) check

Frozen computer
What do you expect when the temperature plummets below the water line? As if that's not far enough, we have to go FURTHER! Into the imaginary numeral territory we like to call below zero. We like to call it that, but we don't enjoy experiencing it. On days like this, the prudent among us get up early, and start prepping in every conceivable way to generate warmth, both inside and outside the body.
